As part of the celebrations of the 110th anniversary of Montepío Luz Saviñón and with the collaboration of the Information Centre for Fashion Jewelry Peñoles, six jewelry designers from different parts of Mexico, featuring Carmen Zambrano LUSASUL director, were invited to design high jewelry collections.
Under the slogan “Light of silver and gold, together for Mexico´s jewels” this collaboration seeks to introduce young talent through their high jewelry collections, which will be auctioned at a gala dinner at the Museo Soumaya, in benefit of the Foundation Unidos for people with disabilities.
Pedrola Ernesto Moya President of Montepío Luz Saviñón, Monica Benitez director of the Center for Information Fashion Jewelry Peñoles and Jorge Salas Cacho president of the Foundation Unidos were in charge of presenting the project last september 4th. The gala dinner and auction will be next November 15th at Soumaya Museum and will be accompanied by the Mexico State Symphony Orchestra.
Made of gold, diamonds and emeralds Carmen Zambrano’s high jewelry collection named Belleville, represents Contemporary Art Nouveau, the collection talks about the spirit of the era in which we live, through lines molded by computer and sumptuous handcrafted finishes which give life to this magnificent jewelry.
